Why Concert Tickets Are So Hard to Get Now

Getting concert tickets used to be simple. You would wait for the release time, try to get in, and either you got tickets or you didn’t. Now it feels completely different. Tickets sell out almost instantly, and then minutes later they show up again at much higher prices.

A big reason for this is bots and resellers. Instead of real fans getting tickets first, automated systems and bulk buyers are able to purchase large amounts in seconds. These tickets are then resold for profit, which makes it harder for fans to afford or even access events.

This has changed the whole experience. Going to a concert should feel exciting, not stressful or impossible. When fans feel like they never had a real chance, it takes away from what live events are supposed to be about.

More people are starting to notice this problem, and it’s becoming clear that ticketing needs a better system. One that focuses less on speed and more on fairness.
